Born in Poland, Joanna Pilarczyk began drawing and painting at an early age. She developed her skills during 10 years of studying Art at both college and University . She obtained her MA degree in visual Arts Education from the faculty of arts at the University of Zielona Gora, Poland in 2008. Since then she has been a practising artist. After moving to London in 2012 she launched a career as an illustrator and Fine Arts Tutor running her own mini Art school. She’s working as a freelance artist selling her work to private collectors and taking commissions for paintings, drawings, digital illustrations and murals in Europe. Joanna is a contemporary artist working with various traditional and digital media such as oil painting, watercolour, ink, pencil or charcoal. She looks for new challenges for herself and encourages others to explore their creative abilities.
